Matthew Rankins

Matt is a native of North Little Rock, AR. He received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000. While attending classes at UALR, Matt also worked for the United Parcel Service as a supervisor in logistics. This position provided him with a tremendous amount of field experience.

In 2001, Matt joined Advanced Fluid Technologies, Inc. (AFT) as a Field Superintendent. In this role, he was responsible for projects at the Little Rock Airforce Base.  In 2003, he became a Fluid Sealing Specialist in the AFT Pump and Seal Division. During this time, he also developed the AFT Landfill Services Division, reviewing projects and making recommendations to both commercial and industrial plants. Matt continues to work closely with maintenance and engineering departments to provide engineered solutions to improve plant reliability and reduce down time. In 2007, Matt was promoted to Vice President at AFT and continues to enjoy helping people in many different ways each day.  He believes that AFT’s commitment to provide superior customer service will allow the company to continue to grow and serve Arkansas. He feels blessed to work with AFT’s respectful and talented staff of professionals. Matt strives to positively impact other individuals daily. He takes pride in serving AFT’s clients through various channels of professional assistance.

Matt is certified in AESSEAL Centrifugal pump and systems, Mechanical seals, Double Seals & Systems, Bearing Protection, Sealing and Systems Pharmaceutical Industry, Pulp and Paper Systems and API Environmental Controls & API Plans.

Matt is blessed with a wonderful wife, Jamie and is a proud father of John. He enjoys spending time at the lake and traveling with family. He is an avid hunter and loves all things outdoors.
